From the VEDAFEU C firestop rope system to the VEDAFEU M firestop mattress, VEDAFEU N firestop blanket, VEDAFEU FB firestop fillerboard, VEDAFEU PU fire resistant polyurethane foam and VEDAFEU SFR sealant, VEDA France has created an extensive range of fire barrier systems. All our fire protection systems are officially tested and approved for firestop joint widths from 10 to 840 mm, and are suitable for use in standard and seismic joint. Some of our VEDAFEU firestop barrier are rated EI 240 minutes.

VEDAFEU C© fire cord is suitable for horizontal and vertical joints, as well as head-of-wall applications. Tested with VEDACOLLE© adhesive and linking material by official laboratories, our fire retardant rope allows movements of +20% and -85%, and is EI 180-rated (180-minute fire-tightness and thermal insulation), for all joint openings from 10 to 120 mm.

Our VEDAFEU N fire stop joint range, including fire stop joint covers and fire blankets, conforms to several certifications in respect of horizontal and vertical joints. These fire stop joint covers are specially designed to ensure the fire integrity and gas-tightness of expansion joints with large gaps and/or large movements.

VEDAFEU N20© firestop blanket are rated EI 240 (fire-tight and thermally insulated for up to 240 minutes without failure) for all joint openings from 60 to 300 mm. Mechanical tests at 50% have been successfully carried out in the laboratory.

VEDAFEU SFR is an acrylic firestop sealant which is suitable for any linear joint sealant requiring fire resistance. Practical, this firestop sealant adheres to most building materials.

Our VEDAFEU C-FM firetop ropes are unique systems with 50% movement. Tested and approved by a recognized laboratory, our seismic ropes are fire-resistant for up to 4 hours. Installation is simple, quick, and requires no mechanical fasteners. Installation instructions and a video are available upon request.

About Our Product Range
Our firestop barrier systems make it possible to compartmentalize spaces to limit the spread of fire.
One of our most popular product range is our selection of fire barrier systems. Our firestops are located in the empty spaces of expansion joints, whether in walls, floors or ceilings. Firestop solutions adapt like traditional seismic joints to building movements to reduce the risk of cracking and building damage. The fire is thus limited for a certain duration in this space. Our fire barrier systems prevent the spread of fires and guarantee gas and smoke tightness of expansion joints. They act as a fire barrier expansion joint.
Our filler boards act as a barrier for fires and can also be used when concrete is poured to act as a join to reduce cracking in the surface and delineate lines that can be used to guide car park or bay markings. They also act as thermal insulation and can be useful for keeping the heat in or out of a specific area.
We also provide fire-resistant fillers and foams that can fill in the gaps between joints and surfaces. These products are all fire-resistant and can help to make a building safer if a fire breaks out by reducing the spread of the flames.
All our VEDAFEU C ropes and VEDAFEU blankets of our range of firestop systems are designed to be associated with our VED’EPDM waterproofing membrane. They can be installed both indoors and outdoors. Our firestop ropes can also be used in head-of-wall.
