In the building industry, every stage in the installation of expansion joints is crucial, including the finishing touches. Our clip-on aluminium joint covers are designed to protect and cover joints in facades, walls, ceilings and floors with light foot traffic. We offer two complementary models: aluminium corner joint cover and aluminium flat joint cover. They enable you to cover your joints while ensuring a real coherence between each surface of the building. They can be used for both new-build and renovation projects.

Extruded joint covers

Joint covers are made from 6063 T6 alloy, and may or may not be coated with a 15-micron thick colorless natural anodizing layer. Aluminium flat joint covers are sold in bundles of 10 x 3-ml lengths (30 ml). Corner joint covers are also sold in the same packaging.

Aluminium expansion joint covers can be factory-lacquered in any RAL color. Please consult us to check the possibilities. All models can be supplied in raw or anodized aluminum. They can also be drilled for mechanical fastening in special cases.

Easy-to-install joint covers

There is no need to drill, adhesive or screw: clip-on aluminium joint covers are easy to clip on. Specially designed clips make them easy to install. Made from stainless steel, the clips guarantee a particularly stable hold, and provide permanent flexibility (spring effect) without loss of tension. 4 clip models are available from stock, to suit different openings. These unique and particularly innovative clips are protected by international patent laws. The choice of clip is dictated by the width of the expansion joint. Special clips can be designed and manufactured on request: joints with chamfers or any other specific case. Please consult our technical department.

Whatever the joint opening, from 20 to 120 mm, you will easily find the right profile for a perfect finish. Aluminium expansion joint covers for facades, walls and ceilings carry the CJV reference number. Joint covers for floors are marked CJH and are suitable for light pedestrian traffic. The number following indicates the overall width. Aluminium corner joint covers have the same part numbers, followed by the letter A. Compatible with VEDAFEU© fire-stop joints, our aluminium expansion joint covers can be installed in a few simple steps, both indoors and outdoors. To find the right profile, identify the initial opening of the expansion joint and use the technical data sheet to determine the corresponding model. Joint covers are available in aluminum, PVC and extruded brass, and are used in all types of buildings: shopping centers, airports, railway stations, office buildings, hospitals, etc.
